Primary Accreditation

GAB Accreditation — GHG Verification & Validation Body

GSustain is accredited by the Global Accreditation Bureau (GAB) — Qatar's national accreditation body — as a greenhouse gas (GHG) verification and validation body under ISO/IEC 17029:2019 and ISO 14065:2020.

GAB is the first accreditation body in the MENA region to sign the Asia Pacific Accreditation Cooperation (APAC) Mutual Recognition Arrangement for GHG verification, meaning our accreditation carries international recognition across APAC member economies.

Carbon Programme

GCC Approved Verifier

GSustain is an Approved Verifier under the Global Carbon Council (GCC) programme — a voluntary carbon credit mechanism operated by the Gulf Organisation for Research and Development (GORD).

GCC credits are CORSIA-eligible, making them relevant for international aviation emissions compliance under the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) framework.

Public Works Authority (Ashghal), Qatar

Approved Consultant by the Public Works Authority (Ashghal), Qatar — for environmental consultancy services on infrastructure and public works projects.

This approval authorises GSustain to deliver environmental impact assessments, environmental monitoring, and related consultancy services for major infrastructure developments under Ashghal's programme of works, including roads, drainage, and public buildings across the State of Qatar.

GSustain is an accredited ISEP Training Centre, authorised to deliver professional development programmes in environmental management, sustainability, and related disciplines.

Our training courses carry ISEP recognition, providing participants with internationally valued professional credentials for career advancement in environmental and sustainability practice.

GSustain is a participant in the United Nations Global Compact, the world's largest corporate sustainability initiative. Green Building Certification

GORD & GSAS Accredited Service Provider — Four Schemes

GSustain is accredited by the Gulf Organisation for Research and Development (GORD) as a GSAS Service Provider and Energy Performance Level Service Provider. GSAS is the GCC region's primary green building certification system. We are licensed to deliver assessment services across four schemes:

GSAS Design & Build (D&B)

Sustainable design and construction assessment for new-build projects. Covers energy, water, materials, indoor environment, cultural and economic value.

GSAS Construction Management (CM)

Environmental and sustainability compliance during the construction phase. Covers site management, waste, emissions, and resource efficiency.

GSAS Operations

Performance monitoring and certification for existing buildings. Assesses operational sustainability against GSAS benchmarks.

Energy Performance Level

Energy performance assessment and rating for buildings. Supports energy efficiency targets aligned with Qatar National Vision 2030.

Impartiality Statement

GSustain is committed to impartiality in all verification and validation activities. Our verification team operates independently from our advisory and consulting functions. We maintain documented procedures for identifying, assessing, and managing conflicts of interest.

All verification decisions are made free from commercial, financial, or other pressures that could compromise independent judgement. Where a potential conflict is identified, we disclose it to the client and, where necessary, decline the engagement.
